DJW Research is a SAHPRA-compliant clinical trials unit linked to Krugersdorp Medical Centre. With over 50 completed trials since 2001, we bring world-class research to the heart of our community practice.
DJW Navorsing (Research) was established in 2001 with Dr. Jaco Jurgens as Principal Investigator and one Study Coordinator. Over 25 years, the site has grown into a full multi-disciplinary team conducting SAHPRA-regulated trials across a range of therapeutic areas.
Uniquely positioned within a busy general practice, DJW Research draws on the established patient base of Krugersdorp Medical Centre, as well as neighbouring facilities, pharmacies, and local clinics for participant recruitment.
"A small, but motivated group, who conducts studies with passion and dedication."
The team holds GCP certifications and Dispensing Licences, with dedicated equipment including a SAHPRA-compliant emergency trolley and 24/7 central temperature monitoring.
Our dedicated multi-disciplinary team brings decades of combined experience to every study we conduct.
